This poem was supposed to be about a dysfunctional family.

This poem was supposed to be about the love that was lost.

This poem was supposed to be about the girl who cries herself to sleep.

This poem was supposed to be about all of the disasters in the world.

This poem was supposed to be about me.

This poem wasn't supposed to make me happy.

This poem wasn't supposed to make me forget about my family.

This poem wasn't supposed to remind me of the love that was gained.

This poem wasn't supposed to make me stay up at night just so I can keep smiling.

This poem wasn't supposed to remind me of all beauty in my life.

This poem wasn't supposed to be about you.

But it was. And it did.
