How Depression Feels

by SammiBABY   May 30, 2008

In a moment it happened and it happened so fast
In a second of innocence I betrayed my whole past
The seconds and hours all disappeared fast
In a world of depression and its unrelenting grasp
The purest temptation, I let out a loud gasp
And in deepened desperation I created a rasp.

The world became dark, my confidence bare
I admitted in disgrace that pain was still there
Wondering if there existed someone to care
I looked at my wrist at a sorrow so real
Knowing that someday the scar will heal
Yet always remembering how depression feels
