Musical Affair

by Briie   May 30, 2008

Kiss my lips and confess that you never loved me,
Sing me a song that's slightly off key.

As I fall into your arms while you hum the tune,
The sweet rhythm cannot break my gloom,

Of knowing,
That i can't appreciate your beautiful arrangements anymore.

Hold me and deny that what you sang was true,
My soul needs the convincing that you are someone who,

Won't compose yourself,
Onto a page of meaningless bliss.

Leave me,
In my sorrow of silence.

Go to her, the one that brings you inspiration,
And allow her feel the sweet sensation,

Of knowing,
That she can claim your harmonic words.

Forget me and the melody we used to share,
For i am no longer your musical affair.
