Anger ((don't do it))

by StandStill   May 30, 2008

Red flares in the back of her mind,
Gagging on the anger welled there.
Little fireworks- pop, pop, BAM.
Fists clenched on the edge of this hatred.

Rises up like a wave,
Calypso's wrath becomes her own.
On the verge of screaming and BAM.
Dramatic ending to an anticlimatical life.

Tongue bit between bloodied teeth.
Revenge so metallic- like the blood in her mouth.
Fingernails cut into palms, rivers running down.
Control- breathe in. breathe out.

It doesn't matter, she tells herself.
Don't let this wave of anger eat you alive.
Fists unclench, tongue is free in the mouth.
Heat washes away like the ocean, replaced by chill.

Cold, hard anger-
eyes flashing with hatred, so bright.
Fists clench around beautiful metal, cold.
Grand finale of the fireworks starts tonight.
