My senses of You

by Grant Gilbert AKA Slash   May 30, 2008

My senses of you

If I say I love you
Does the sun beat down?
Do the rains cool my brow?
If I say I love you, this I vow

Your touch the caress of cool mountain breeze
On sun warmed skin
Like butterflies on roses for the nectar within

The taste of your kisses
Like honey on melons and sweet morning dew
Like butter on toast
With strawberry jam in small china dishes

The sight of your body
The beautiful curves and mysterious shadows
My heart skips a beat
I struggle to swallow

The smell of the sun on freshly mown lawn
And rain in the garden after cool summer storms
These are the smells that remind me of you

The sound of your voice whispered so soft
How much you love me
It's only for me and I'm totally lost

If I say I love you
I love you

LOL! Some of these lines were just delightful to read. Well all of them were delightful, but a few made me giggle. :D The butter on toast and the jam one. XD

The ending lines were well developed and I really loved On sun warmed skin
