Sorry for the delay
I forgot how to write
Happy poems aren't my thing
I'm too happy tonight

I don't know why you're reading
This poem can't be good
Just thought I should say something
If this were sad, it would

If this were sad
Then I'd be too
This poem would be better
I blame you

It's your fault I am smiling
Just thought you'd like to know
You make my heart beat faster
You make time not so slow

You make my poems happy
(My best aren't supposed to be)
You make my poems happy
Happy poems mean happy me

I don't know why you are still reading
This poem can't be good
It's another cute little love poem
Love poems can't say what they should

Not enough words to write
They don't come out the same
Every poet knows
That the pen is to blame

The pen is to blame
Distorts words from the heart
My love poems don't do justice
Maybe the poet's not that smart

I don't know how to write it out
Cute love poem is all I say
Cause God knows I can't write a sad one
You made me too happy today

    All right, the pen may be to blame, but the poem was awesome and really sweet, so even if the pen gets all the credit, it's still a really good poem.
