Saving Dawn

by brie kelly wise   May 31, 2008

Climb onto a rooftop, try watch the world stop
Stay up all night, catch a glimpse of the sunrise
We can be dying inside and everything will be alright
We can hang on to every minute though we can't stop time
How much can we take, saving dawn to break
Sleep under the stars, let's compare scars
Six long hours on the road, I've killed you both
My first love and what this closeness is made of
In your stretch of imagination you forgot the catch
That if we care enough, it's our lives you can spare
I must say we're at the top of the world, without a word
A tiny little infatuation coming from a little girl
Silent inspiration means nothing, well it seems
I just want to feel you, to find the real you
I just want to know where you are tonight
This time thing feels so long
Why do we have to save dawn?
