Wow, hunni.... this poem was absolutely amazing. I could tell you put your heart and soul into writing every single line. It was beautiful, stunning, incrediable, and I believe it to be one of your best. Everything about it was just so realistic.. I could imagine the playground, the girl, the headphones, and just... well, everything. It's especially realistic to me because I KNOW who it's about. None of it was made up. It was all real.

God only knows she's the answer-
the answer to my prayers of midnight fear.
I always prayed for an amazing best friend,
the kind of best friend I seem to have found here.

^ I think everyone in our little p&q family can relate to this stanza in particular. We have all seemed to have found people so amazing on this site. And just the way you worded it.. omg, it ended up being my favorite stanza out of the entire piece. This was sweet but in some ways, a heart tugger for me. The part about guilt trips actually brought tears to my eyes.. because she's just too amazing to ever think about hurting herself. It's horrible, but I hope someday, with your help, she will see how wonderful she truly is and will stop.

Great job, Gabby. As I said above.. this has to be one of your best poems yet. I touched my heart and I just fell in love with it. It was realistic, relatable, touching, and amazing. I also think you should take your own advice, hun. Because to us, these two lines are also about you.

She doesn't understand that she's wonderful.

i really did like this poem. you amaze me, because i could never write anything so long. if i tried, it would start off as a poem about poohbear and end in a poem about peter pan. so yay to you, for writting great poems! it was really good. the words were perfect, and you described friendship and practically put in a bottel!
