About A Mouse

by needing a miracle   May 31, 2008

There once was a mouse
Who was running through a maze
To get out of hell
She'd been there for days

On her search
She ran into another
A mouse she began to love
Her significant other

Together they searched
Forever in bliss
The girl mouse knew
Nothing better than this

One day things began to fall apart
And their relationship began to go down
The boy mouse went off alone
Didn't even make a sound

The girl mouse tried to find him
He was her one and only lover
Without him life wouldn't be worth it
Always going to suffer

She thought she came close
When all of a sudden there was a snap
Around her neck
Was the mouse trap.

She squeaked as loud as she could
Hoping he would hear
He didn't get the call for help
She shed her last tear

Her breathing began to slow
Didn't know how long she'd last
Her memory began to play
The great times of her past

One last time she saw
The love she would never have
She wished she could say something
But time wouldn't give her another chance

"Good bye my love"
"I will be with you again"
Died, the girl mouse did
Watching her love from heaven
