I Hope your happy

She sat there, her eyes glued to the screen, taking in every word.
Every promise coming back, all of them shattered into more then a billion pieces.
She'll never understand why, but she's trying as hard as she can.
She just guesses things weren't meant to be, even though he said forever.
But she won't break, no shes stronger then that.
And even though it hurts she hopes hes happy with her.
The only thing she ever wanted was for that one smile to last forever.
And that day on the bridge, their first kiss plays through her mind like a movie, but it never ends.
And she'll always wonder if when he looked into her eyes he saw who she really was.
Or maybe if she had done something different, maybe if she had given him a little more of herself.
But shes not mad, and she won't cry.
Because thats the way things are, and as much as she wants to change them she can't.
So she'll sit here smiling hoping he'll realize that hes better then that.
And she knows hes a good guy, and she forgives him for hurting her.
She believes he didn't mean too,
But shes scared that she said she loved him, and she still means it.
She's scared that she cried in front of him as he lay ed there holding her.
But most of all shes scared it will never happen again and shes scared because shes ripping herself open to let everyone know how shes feeling
And everyones already told her hes not worth it, but she knows he is.
She knows deep inside somewhere he had to mean it, because words like "I love you" didn't come easy.
She can practically draw his tattoo's with her finger in the air without even looking at them.
But she prays that this girl wont hurt him because she knows he doesn't deserve that.
She knows he deserves the best and she hopes with all the pieces of her heart he finds it.
So.. I love you, I miss you, I'm waiting for you, and with everything that I have I hope your happy.
