Corner Kids

by ALEX   Jun 1, 2008

We track the time with folded notes...
With photographs, and things we wrote.

Us corner kids,
With cobweb hair,
With empty eyes,
And solemn stares.

The music plays the memories...
Smiles lighting up the melodies.

Us cobweb kids,
With love, are dared,
With enticing smiles,
With hopes all bared.

Good rhythm and the rhyme just needs to have a couple plurals dropped("notes" to "note and "stares" to "stare"). I get the feeling you speak of dolls no longer played with and left in a corner by a growing girl. But are they "corner kids" or "cobweb kids" ?
    As always an opinion.
