Hope on the Horizon ((A star is born))

by StandStill   Jun 1, 2008

Dark night, sky like dried blood,
Stars shimmering like shattered tears.
Sunrise all too far beneath the horizon,
Buried in the chambers of Hades.

Falling stars rip through the sky,
leaving scars of bloody cosmos.
Venus cries over her lovers-
breathing children combusting silently.

Planets align as predestined,
inescapable fate washing over even the Heavens.
Rings of ice twirl around monoliths,
clashing reality with fire and ice.

Amidst all the desecration and loss,
a pinpoint of light twirls lazily.
Gathering the memories of the dying ones-
and a lovely star bursts into being.
