It's Raining Inside

by The Apathetic Emo   Jun 1, 2008

Dew pours down
My window pane
But that's okay
I love the rain
Stand outside
Let it wash away
The tears
I feel inside

Razor wind shreds
My plaid skin
But I don't mind
I only grin
Because now
I am as bloody
On the outside
As I am within

Dancing light jumps
From hill to hill
Scorching the grass
It can never be still
But I can relate--
It just wants to be heard
I know how it feels
To be ignored

Dull crystals tread
O'er the green
Sent from where
Only white can be seen
Falling to the earth
And gathering brown
Now the white is dirty
Dirty, like me
