It used to be just you and me,
when i looked you in the eyes,
I knew we were meant to be;
but why did you have to hurt me in such a way;
where everything you held,
was set free.
Set free like it meant nothing at all
I knew that life would help me get through,
I told you i would never lie,
I would never let you go,
I would never love another man;
There's this unknown reason why I've fallen
fallen for another;
is it because of your mistakes
that the trust i had in you has faded away
because of what you've done?
maybe its just revenge because you cheated on me with another girl;
but this feeling for this man,
i have never felt;
maybe its just time for a change..
but time will tell when this change needs to take place
