Untitled poem about life

by CryingBird   Jun 2, 2008

A tender kiss vulnerable eyes
make-up drops like a stencil
revealing my selfishness

a gleeful smile knowing faces
greetings uttered underneath glowing hearts
revealing my love

an awkward conversation so much hidden
daydreams that struggle to find their way into words
revealing my weakness

an aging reflection a surprised realization
that I too am a victim
of life's revelation
