Bittersweet Symphony

The music sounds
So sweet and true
But the meaning is bitter
I've lost you.
The violins sound
Raising the harmony
I think of the connection I've lost
Between you and me
The guitar is loud now
The discord is familiar sounding
The time we spent together
Was altogether astounding
I listen to the music
It washes over me
The song ends now
Just like you and me.

    This is really good! I loved the very beginning and it just got better, the whole poem is so descriptive and so heartfelt. I loved this last part, tied the poem together beautifully:

    "The song ends now
    Just like you and me."

    I like how you say that, very neat, nice job!
