If Only

I've been having the strangest feeling,
And it bothers me so,
I'm not so sure to where it's heading,
But I desperately need to know.

I need to know if you really feel
the way I feel inside,
I need to know if it's for real,
'cause I can't sleep at night.

I smile when I am all alone,
I look for you each day,
If only you were mine to own,
These questions would go away.
