Words of Adoration

by Soulful Ensemble   Jun 2, 2008

When you go away I count the flowers until the end of day
And the rain drops come together and become too hard to see
But they slip down and race far to their defeat
Where they will never be separated individually
But many ways will come someday for them to flee.

I'm getting better because of you
And my words just flow and swoon.
No strain or other way to drain me will come soon
I'm engulfed and dipped in this big love monsoon.

The sky twists and twirls around my finger
And to pass the time I write you love
That explains and comes without a stinger
Like the whiteness of the dove.

And the blackness of the crow is gone
With the stench of death far done.
Hours pass and come to see my smile
That has no cracks up on its tiles.

And Moses walks on water
While Jesus parts the seas.
Satan leaves the slaughter
And cures every disease.

Here the pollen flies to tell a story
Of many days of dying glory.
Through the mossy trees and inventories
Everything is honky dory.

The supplication dies down
And misery is long forgotten.
Peace comes back to every town
Throwing out the rotten.

And soon love grows more
The sky writes words implored,
Which resonate through every door
Now everyone knows who I adore
And I fall down to the floor
With happiness that soars.
