I loved you but you hurt me

The world outside keeps going on
while I sit here dying on the inside
the world has nothing to offer me
your too busy to realize that
tears are streaking down my cheeks
as thoughts of "us" run through my mind
I gave so much and received so little
you help me to find out
that my heart was made of glass
because I handed it to you
and you let it fall.....
Even thought it's in a million pieces
it still beats for you.
