Vs.1
Help,
I've seen too much,
cried too many times,
why do I have such bad luck.
It's like the whole world is my tormentor.
Is there somebody there that can listen to my plea
and understand all that I've seen.
vs.2
The tragedy of my death,
or so as many people tell me,
Is enough to break hearts
even that of my enemies.
When the inside is dead what's left
but death.
Can anyone hear my pleas.
chorus:
I need somewhere to go to,
someplace where I can find you.
A place of comfort where I know I'll never be alone.
With this aid by my side when I pick up the phone.
I'm glad to know you care.
vs. 3
I think about death and suicide,
it's the only way. I have no one
to confide in, so I best die
today.
bridge:
But their voice reached out to me,
saying
Even though you feel unloved,
or you think you are invisible,
remember, I am here for you.
chorus:
I need somewhere to go to,
someplace where I can find you.
A place of comfort where I know I'll never be alone.
With this aid by my side when I pick up the phone.
I'm glad to know you care.
I'm glad to know you care.......
p.s. This song is another original by me and my friend Mimi. We wrote it 50/50 for our final task for guitar class. It's a sad song, but inspirational. Kids Help Phone is an inspiration in itself. Just letting you know the story behind this song.
p.s.s one verse and part of the bridge comes from 2 of my other poems I wrote a while ago.
