People just keep reading all these fantasies
The internet spreads through every nation
Looking away from TV and its limited stations
Wanting to read about the next person's life
Reading to find out if its anything like their strife
They read the lies and think they're real
People believe what their eyes can't steal
Because opinions are nothing but one sided tale
Stories and complaints of arguments gone stale
Its the blog we all stare at and wonder why
The grass is greener on the other side
Why the person in Chicago is making money
How's that man in Ohio getting all the honey
Perhaps that lady in Germany is finally out of debt
I think the man in Rhode Island bought a new pet
Its not just the kids trapped in their myspace world
Even the adults have fallen into twirl
Stupid young people looking for love online
Only to find the lovers a rapist in real life
Oh but the power and joy of rumors that flow
On everyone's favorite blog they all go
To see what happened yesterday
And then record their own lies of what happened today
