i remember how everyone was jealous
cause we fell in love so fast

i remember how safe i felt
when i fell asleep in your embrace

i remember how nervous you were
when you decided to ask me out
i remember the voices you heard
filling you with doubt

i remember the touch of your lips against mine
as our tongues began to glide
i remember the first day we met
our hearts started to collide

i remember waking up in fear
thinking you weren't there
i remember you holding me tight
saying that you care

i remember all of this
even though it was just a dream
i remember how much i loved you
and how much you meant to me
