I can't love you

by JosiePoems   Jun 3, 2008

I see your bad side
And calm you from your rage.
I hear your crying
And dry your eyes from pain.
I accept your worst habits
And embrace your best qualities.
I love you at your worst.

You see her good side
And fall in love again.
You hear her laughter
And make her laugh again.
You accept her good side
And her hidden.
You love her at her best.

But what if she were to falter
And fail to hide those flaws
That shes been controlling
And keeping behind closed doors.
Youd be back with me
Embracing once again
My feelings stowed away once more
If only we were not friends.
