Unwordful Sleep

by ForsakenBeautyXx   Jun 4, 2008

Unsure what to write,
my mind blinded by the light,
no one knows except for me,
what these thoughtful words will be,
i ponder and dream,
why words are never what they seem,
a million words,
yet my mind is blurred,
come and go,
like the people in my life,
written down in a journal somewhere,
but never forgotten,
i sit and stare at the pages,
rereading what i had once written,
i remember these words from long ago,
but now emotion i will never show,
heart and mind hidden from these words i keep,
as my emotions drift off into an undwordful sleep...

mind speaking,
words leaking,
taking control,
letting words flow,
as i awake,
from this unwordful sleep.

You started off at the beginning of the poem with rhyming, and then you switched to not rhyming randomly. That just made my mind jump. It was still a good poem.

This was the type to make the reader think and have to go back and read it again in order to get the full understanding of it.

You have a talent and I suggest you try to go somewhere in life with it.

Hmm. i like to reminisce my old poems too. it usually is late at night for me when i write. that way nobody interupts. plus i feel like i have to hide it on my computer so nobody will see it.

anyway... that what it made me think of. good write
