The question

The Question
Has man become so bored and wilful about his being?
That all he has become capable of is death and destruction?
Is all that we've learned from the creation, chaos?
Are our hearts so filled with hate and loathing
That we have lost the ability for compassion?
My heart weeps for my children
Have their hearts become so hardened by media violence?
Has love and passion become so debased, that it's just more nudity and sex?
In the past one hundred years is this how much progress we've made?
Is this what we have become?
