There was once a helpless girl
Who had the greatest person
that she loved as a precious pearl
and who shined just like the sun...

He told her all his problems
and she tried her best to help
yet everything stuck to him like gems
which made her want to just yelp...

He was heart-broken and hurt
Because of what people call love
I wish I could make him convert
From hurt to hurt-free in just a shove...

He tells me of his loved one
And how he's confused about
Whether or not she should be won
Or thought to be a doubt...

I gave him the best advice
That I could think of at that time
But he didn't think of it as nice
I feel so bad as though I've committed a crime...
