I want to live on one day
Without this emptiness in my heart,
Stop pretending I'm fine
And Stop telling myself I'm not falling apart

I pray it will all get better in time
And Ill eventually learn to forgive & forget
No longer stuck in the past
No longer filling with regret

I just want to smile without a sudden force
To be able to kiss him without feeling cold
To not think of you when he touches me
I want to live without feeling a sense of uncontrol

I just want this broken heart to mend
Throw our memories down the drain
