Inward Thoughts

by Orchid Man   Jun 4, 2008

Life contains many rarities; objects of wealth and countless desires
Much is written and even more history is stored within dusty historical vaults
Orchid Lady, you are my history but more importantly - my very present.......
....no matter what may be written about you; nothing will portray your beauty.

Whether a person's beauty is defined as being inward or bodily; you project both
Each morning as I turn to you I smile and feel my heart sighing with its endless love
In truth you live so deep in my heart no other woman will ever find its entrance
Sweetheart, how could I ever replace you; for you are simply irreplaceable.

Before you came into my life I lived alone; never experiencing the beauty that surrounded me
The sounds of nature failed to reach my ears and selfishly I cared only for myself.......
....now everything has changed and I understand the happiness you unselfishly share
Nor shall I forget your first smile or that touch of your hand as they will live with me into Eternity.

Sweetheart I have to be honest with you and unlock a secret I have kept hidden.......
....one day as we stood on the wooden footbridge I stared at your reflection in the water -
When a princess among all orchids arose from the depths and settled snugly into my heart.......
....while the river splashed a fond approval before continuing its destiny to the sea.

Now as we lovingly embrace before settling into our nightly dreams.......
....once more I feel your heartbeat mingling its tenderness with my own
Orchid Lady you are taking me with you into a world only you and I occupy
Whatever tomorrow brings; we shall share it - asking for nothing more than each other.

Goodnight flower of my life I need you
