I was only a little girl
when daddy got hurt
i came home from school
seeing a van in the driveway
saw it was my uncle
got in
we arrived at my grandpas house
next thing i know
my head is deep in a pillow
sobbing in tears
next day we went to the hospital
saw him in the bed
eyes shut looking in pain
i grabbed his hand waking him up
"I love you Daddy" i said
You will be ok
its almost been 7 years
and hes still here hanging on to what hes got
