Life goes on no matter the pain,

Back and forth, never stopping,
Words of hope, words of hatred,
Always knowing, always blaming,
Living bright, living dead,

Back and forth, the confusion,
Thoughts of love, thoughts of bleeding
All protection, no affection,
Live a couple, live grieving,

What is love but just a lie?
Just a thought. Just a phrase.
Words just jumbled up inside.

What is life but just a dream?
