Wow.. this is beautiful... i hv not tried this form yet...but your poem has encouraged me to try it out...

you have painted a beautiful picture before the readers...

'Obscuring sun, the clouds in charge
The ground to cover is quite large
    Now wildflowers drink is found
    Softly, the rain falls'

^^ the beauty of rainfall is so well described here... wonderful imagery...

    excellent write..

    keep writing..

Beautiful verses of nature's renewal Rachel! You've done an excellent job on the Rondeau form!

"Softly, the rain falls, nature's tears
    Nurturing life as it appears
    A soothing, calming, welcome sound
As pitter patters meet the ground
    The melody delights my ears"

^my favorite stanza...captures the beauty in listening to a soft rainfall! Well done!

Rachel, Oh I love this, its so tranquil, I love the rain, I could breathe and smell the natural drops of rain around me and now I just would love it to rain and stand out there with it, it brings such warmth and peace in just reading these words like it seems you have placed a piece of paper on the ground and let the rain fall onto it and write from its heart, it was just beautiful to say the least, wow, one of the most clear and amazing nature poems I HAVE EVER READ! 5/5

"Softly The Rain Falls"...soothing title for a soothing poem.

"A rainbow in the sky will bend
    Tis not what I anticipate
For life anewed is surely great
How could one wish for this to end"

Loved these lines here for the very fact that it conveys a strong message to me in other ways. And thank you for explaining Rondeau.I've learned something new.

    Rachel,
Such an exquisite poem with beautiful nature imagery. I envy your ability to do these forms so easily. Your poem grasps the reader and holds them in trance amazed at the beauty of your words. You are definitely your mothers daughter. Grace, beauty, and nature combined into one poem= excellent.
