Drowning to Find You

by Miss Lovely   Jun 5, 2008

I'm sinking.
Sucking in the water.
Suffering alone.
Reaching up for someone...anyone....
Wanting to be able to breathe.
No one is there.
My soul screams out in pain.

Unable to avoid this death.
No one is around to help.
Longing for air.
Lungs bursting.
Insides begin bleeding.

A white embrace.
The complete silence.
Feeling heavy.
Being smothered by a single pair of hands.
I hear a deep voice.
The voice is screaming and pleading for life.
Its tone is panicked and stressed.

Pain and exhaustion fill my body.
Feeling crushed and weak.
Aches and gashes all over.
I open my eyes.
The voice is relieved.
Tears stream down my cheeks
As I look up into my rescuers face.
You sit there and hold me in a tight grip.
Never to let go.
Drowning to find you...

Hmm.. i really enjoyed reading the begining, and the middle. very descriptive. we really feel her desperation.
though.. lol the ending was cute,
but i' m just not in -cute- writings.
but still, it was well written n_n

at least she found that person now
