Saying goodbye

Watching your face go by my window,
knowing i wont see it again,
the fear that takes over me,
i just want you again.
To hold me just one more time,
and for you to kiss these lips of mine,
never would i leave you again.
The fear of never feeling you near me,
never being able to fall in your arms.
Not being able to keep you happy,
and wiping the tears from your eyes.
Sadness is all i will feel when your gone,
Feeling helpless and alone.
Forever in the darkness,
gone from the one,
who always made me smile,
and made me feel like i belonged.
So when we say our last goodbyes,
promise not to cry,
leave me with my peace,
and just let me know there is still love.
