The Way It Goes

by Luv Her   Jun 6, 2008

Time passes by, always getting away. The only way to escape is in the mind... You can live several lives before you die and take something from them all. Time is inevitable. The senses become more acute. It's too bad you can't truly use them. Outside, they may sense the engulfing darkness... Dreams can teach anything. They cannot stop you from leaving and never coming back. Nothing can save you. Death is alive.
Dreams can allow you to fail and try again. In life, there are no redos. Fantasize about the good times and live the bad. A contradicting personality is healthy. It will keep you on your guard for anything thrown at you. Try to get up and fall back down, life is a never ending cycle of unpleasntries. Moments of happiness only make the despair worse. Falling. A gigantic drop. Reality can leave you, but it returns when you hit rock bottom, as if trying to remind you that somwhow, you could sink even lower.
It will never get better. The pen slides across the paper- This is how life is. Happiness comes again. It comes as does the wave or rain. It passes over and you are doused in magnificant wonders. As quick as the rain comes, it will leave. Then, you will be cold, and inevitably dry off as the wonders fade away. ~The light is temporary, darkness is forever...

When dreaming, you can do more than you could ever dream of doing in reality. You can die and return to your body with a new experience. Life ends. Horrible things can happen yet be accompanied my wonderful dreams. Dreams abruptly leave. Suddenly you crashand your mind is the only sanctuary. The place that you once called home is now gone. All your friends hate you. Nothing is left to be thankful for.
As quickly as things go, they can reappear. Dreaming again. Dream of what you want, of where you want to be. Time is your enemy. The dreams will go away. You must wake up and face life again. Life hates you. Nothing lasts forever.
