Lying to a Friend

Some state Im a b****
Others argue Im a w***e
But even so Im living a lie
And I cant take it anymore

I cant forget you,
Not your words or that smile.
But for your sake
Ill stand in denial.

Maybe Im just drunk
Yes, thats got to be it
I have to stop holding on
And learn how to just quit

I rather have you as a friend
The not have you at all,
Cu I need you to be here
So I can get up after I fall.

    This was a deep poem. you did a wonderful job at expressing yourself.

    i liked those lines the most. they really stuck out to me. especially the last 2 lines. i can say i feel the same about someone too. great to kno someone can relate to what your feeling. job well done. 5/5.
