Little broken record,
She still sings her same old song.
Too afraid to sleep at night,
so she's awake straight through the dawn.

"Love me" doesn't cover it,
she needs to know the why.
"Why do you even bother,
when I'll only make you cry?"

No one laughs with the record,
she's broken, people are just annoyed.
Fixes others hearts with songs,
while her own problems, she avoids.

Little broken record,
what's now wrong with her?
Why is she just a piece of trash,
when all she wants to be is treasure?

The little broken records,
someday, she'll be thrown away.
Floating debris in the ocean's surf,
no longer even able to play.
