Shout at the Devil

by Grant Gilbert AKA Slash   Jun 6, 2008

Shout at the Devil

I ride my bike to the top of the hill
And I shout at the devil within

I stand on a bridge above an abyss
And I shout at the devil within

As I stare down the hole, at the projectile below
I shout at the devil within

I take the blade and carve away
And shout at the devil within

As I pop some pills with whiskey and gin
I shout at the devil within

I stare at the rope, wonder if it'll break
I shout at the devil within

Now I look in the mirror, at a tear stained face
And I shout and I scream
Because now I can see where the devil has been
