Dare the Dogs Sing (alphabet poem)

by Ashleigh Skye   Jun 6, 2008

*I had to write a poem about my favorite horror movie villain.. can you guess which one it is?*

Abandon all reason,
break down the door,
continue hiding,
down under the floor.

Escape to safety,
from the slobbering dog,
gashing his teeth,
hiding out in the fog.

Invisible now,
just waiting to pounce,
keep your eyes wide open,
less your position be announced.

Move quickly keep running,
no time to slow down,
organs all pumping rapidly,
paws hitting the ground.

Quickly he lunges,
rescue no where in sight,
sense of evil eclipses,
the once calming night.

Undone by the devil,
victim in his own right,
wages war on humanity,
x-terminates everything in sight.

Young ones cry out as the once,
zealous dog finally falls.
