A robot love poem

by Shalkan   Jun 6, 2008

Relentlessly expressionless, yet obviously not emotionless
lie in my robot arms and kiss my cold, flawless lips
i cannot bleed, if blood need be, but i need it not desperately
so stumble not, trip and stall, my metal heart will break your fall

but lovers crave, what lovely hips, let me lick your loving lips
a robot has not what to wear, hardened steal my only hair
and titanium becomes my cranium, i cry radioactive uranium
but your blue eyes, with water real, weep oil in my joints to heal

when passions' rage dish out to me these frozen rations sought by thee
i think fondly of the brighter days, when love was still what lovers craved
but robot eyes can only see, the human universally
as Eden cried, her lovely eyes, were mortal 'till the day she died

so you may go, if you feel so, i set you in the wind to blow
a little north, you may go forth, find the heart of no man's land
but never come, back to me, to find me withered down to sand

A robot's love will always last, my lover gave me ages past.
so go you forth, and hence from here, i'll wash away my robot tears.
