It was a dark cold cloudy morning when he was extremely sad
there was nothing in the world that would make him glad
he tried everything to change his mood
but there was nothing at all, not even the moon
he walked all day with a fake frozen smile
there was nothing happy to him, not for a long while
he left his family and friends for something he felt was true
but in the end it became nothing, his heart was too blue
he left on a trip to clear his head
not one word to anyone, not even one word said
he stood in the overcast, along the dark cold water
looking at his reflection were nothing seemed to matter
when out of the clouds came the bright gleaming sun
so he look up and his life slowly begun
he talk to the sunshine as if it knew
but little did he know it replied, taking away his dark cold blue
he began to speak more and more
where the sunshine understood how he was so sore
he then got up off his sharp jagged rock
where he found his sunshine with complete and utter shock
he left that place with a big real smile
to only find out his sunshine was girl that was all worth wile
she made him realize life is your only deal
she made him understand love, and that love is real
she took his breath away with every word
took away everything and every concern
over time, his smile grew and grew
where he will never let his heart grow any shade of blue
he grasped her in and will never let her go
for she is his sunshine, that she will never know
