A night of no hope.
A night of forgotten friends.
A night where you can't sleep.

We try, we do, to smile, to laugh.
But it's just one of those nights.

A night where it's silent.
A night able to hear your heart beat.
A night of isolation.

We beg to God, to make it right.
But it's just one of those nights.

A night of despair.
A night of remembering.
A night of coldness.

I ask myself, why can some sleep soundly and dream of heaven, and why must some struggle to face the demons?
