My beautiful mother

by Shellaine shelli   Jun 7, 2008

Do you really love me,
do you really care...
when my mom was lying on
the hospital bed,
you were never there...

I remember when I held her hand...
The pain I felt to see her in that state,
my beautiful mother
lying in ICU,
I remember hearing the machines
and thinking this couldn't
be real...

I remember when the nurse
came in, and said
"I'm sorry, but you have to leave..."
the pain I felt was so surreal,
all I wanted was to bleed.

Why did she have so suffer so much...
she had already gone through
more than enough...

Do you really love me,
do you really care
because when my mom was lying on
a hospital bed,
you were never there...
