In An Animals Place

Oh, the grass is so green
Such healthy flowers begin to grow
Hardworking farmers so strong and lean
How beautiful the world is so high and low

Streams of water hit the rocks
And sails down to the lakes
As a robins head slowly cocks
And sees this country is at great stakes

Although our world is beautiful and strong
We still have issues, there's still many things wrong

As we're relaxing on our couches
With content and no care
An innocent cheetah is being hunted
With no one to be aware

With nothing to offer but fur
The cheetah surrenders as she collapses
One less cheetah for the war
One more soul drains out like molasses

Because of global warming
The polar bear will become extinct
With no realization and no warning
All hopes are about to sink

After fighting through starvation
The polar bear can't take it any longer
Unfortunately dying for salvation
Can't make him much stronger

As we greedily cut down forests
Just to use for things we don't need
What we don't know is that were terrorists
To monkeys that need them to feed

We can only save so many monkeys
From the amount of forest we cut down
And it's such a pity that they are so innocent
And can't save themselves by how much they astound

It seems so greedy
It seems so cruel
As if we don't know what we're doing
We must be fools

The thing is, some people don't know
how much extinction is rising
So it's our job to help them
understand that they're actions are sizing

One little thing can make a difference
One little thing can save a life
One little thing can save the offense
That causes animals to go through strife

So please don't litter
And please don't waste
Because one can put a splinter
In an animals place
