Goldilocks

Goldilocks

Had hair like a DaVinci angel,
emasculated and luxurious, and
it puffed around her face in
silky curly clouds.

We don't hear about her eyes, but
we know they were blue -
they must have been: the sky
to match her silky cloudy hair.

The world, she thinks,
lies like a platter before her
little, smelly, white feet - It overflows -
like melting ice cream spilling over a cone,
sickly silky sweet, she runs a pink tongue around the edges.

She assumes
(which makes it worse than premeditation)
that she is entitled
(which makes it worse than theft)
to anything she happens to want:
house, porridge, bed, partiality...

But she doesn't get it.
To jump out a window , a victim,
is spoonfuls of hot porridge more preferable than
realization and shame.

    She is, after all, still a child, young;
    above all, immature...

You, however, are a woman of poetic insight,
and the will to carefully demonstrate it......

    good job!

But there was nothing about what a great improvisor she was, or how great she was at getting out of a jam when her back was against the wall.
