Little Rays of Light

by Curing the Comon Cliche   Jun 8, 2008

Little rays of light
So deep but still feel the sun
We float till we start sinking
We sink until we're done

Little rays of light
Sinking to the ground
To the bottom of the ocean
Not even music has a sound

Little rays of light
So peaceful, you can't believe
As your vision blurs
As your last air leaves

Little rays of light
Sparkle as they fly by
Sparkle as they leave
Leaving you to die

Dear Reader, you are drowning
To be or not to be?
Little rays of sunlight
Last thing you will see

I walked beside the evening sea
And dreamed a dream that could not be;
The waves that plunged along the shore
Said only: "Dreamer, dream no more!"
