Moment of a Lifetime

by anna   Jun 8, 2008

She couldn't think, she was blown away,
To comprehend what he'd meant that day,
She'd strewn herself for hours and hours,
He blessed her with one lover's flower,
He flushed her cheeks with a passionate kiss,
Left her mind in a sullen bliss,
She felt a change in her lover's touch,
Was it still the man she'd loved so much,
Too strong a love for him to leave,
Was he one to mislead,
Her mind astray, her head in thought,
He brought her from her soul's distraught,
A star he pulled out from hiding,
And placed it on her hand abiding,
When her love was thought to leave that day,
It came to be, he was there to stay.
