Would we?

Would we know
perfection if we saw it?
Would we know Jesus
if he came knocking?
Would we open the door
or shun him?
Would we convict
or acquit?
If Jesus came preaching
would we come flocking?
Would you clothe
the homeless
or turn them out?
If you were raped
would kill your unborn?
The future is so grim.
Shall we just give up?
So many questions
so few answers.
