Happy Place

by Four Letter Lie   Jun 8, 2008

In my field of dead flowers,
Here I could lie for endless hours.
Sleeping in my imaginary world,
A place where I'm a happy girl.

A dark sky covers overhead,
All the rivers flow crimson red.
The place where I truly belong,
Where all the people who hurt me are gone.

A beautiful silence fills the air,
The sharp silence I've been longing to hear.
This is my one true happy place,
Even if tears roll down my face.

I agree a very odd sort of happiness but a strong happiness nonetheless
