I've always known.

by CourtneyyContageous   Jun 8, 2008

The moment I first saw you,
I could never forget.
It was when I helped at registration,
Dying to get back to my volleyball net.

It's almost as if it was supposed to happen,
Our eyes conveniently locked.
You were fixing your shoes,
As I was fixing my top.

So we went our separate ways,
But to learn that 'we' had just begun.
Three months later we were embraced.
Under the late homecoming game sun.

I've always known that we'd make it,
I've always known we'd be together.
We've made it through the rain, the sun,
All kinds of screwed up weather.

In this crazy world,
Your the rock on which I stand.
While I feel alone,
Your there to hold my hand.

We've made it this far,
Almost eight months now.
Sure it's still early,
But at least we know now.

We know that were in love,
We know were meant to be.
Eternity in each others arms.
Forever you and me.
