There's a simple saying that everyone knows
and most think its true
"sticks and stones may break my bones,
but word will never hurt me"
to this phrase I say begone
it is not completely true
yes its true that sticks and stones may break your bones
but words can also hurt you
words are powerful
so powerful in fact they can lead to wars
and pain and maybe even death
because of words people fight
and when people fight there may be blood
and where there is blood pain is soon to follow
words can be cruel and words can hurt
so if you believe this saying
think again
for if your not careful
words can hurt you too
